Established c1860, the New Union Hotel was one of the first openly gay venues in the city. We are a Hotel and Showbar in the heart of Manchester's vibrant Gay Village on Canal Street with a fun and lively atmosphere, awesome DJs, karaoke, the best drag cabaret in Manchester and themed nights.
Established 1860, The New Union Hotel was one of the first openly gay venues in the city offering something different to its patrons and to this day we continue to offer something for everyone to this day.
All our rooms are clean and modern with no frills. Each room has its own modern en-suite shower room, free WiFi, complimentary tea & coffee with memory foam mattresses.
Serving a wide variety of beverages from lager to different flavoured ciders, mainstream spirits to boutique gins, we’re sure to have the tipple for you!
